All patterns are made with Bernat Softee Cotton or as it is also labeled Bernat Softee Baby Cotton. There is no difference in the yarn, only the color choices available.

The regular Softee Cotton line has deeper, more classic shades, while the Softee Baby Cotton line offers softer pastels. The yarn is a 3-weight cotton/polyester blend that’s machine washable and easy to care for.

I’ve used a combination of both types in blankets, sweaters, bibs, dishcloths and hats. I love using this yarn especially when I am making a crochet item to give as a gift. There is something very special about receiving something made with cotton.
