Hello Friends! I’d like to let you know that we have free crochet stitch tutorials available for you! If you are a beginner and want to learn how to crochet or a seasoned crocheter who would like to combine a few stitches to make your own look- this quick list is for everyone.
Each stitch tutorial has an accompanying short video tutorial that demonstrates the stitch.
These are the basic stitches to crochet, or ingredients I sometimes like to say, that create beautiful work.
Several years ago we even published all the stitches into a handy book to keep in your crochet bag. The book also has QR codes to take you straight to the video tutorials.

The list starts at the very beginning with single crochet and then proceeds through a lot of variations of half double crochet and double crochet and then we have several stitch combinations.
We use these basic stitches for most of our designs. They are our very favorite to create easy and modern crochet.
You can always access all the stitches from the menu heading on our website “Crochet Stitches” but I thought having them all in one list might be a good idea too.
