Half Double Crochet V-Stitch
To Make a Swatch:
CHAIN
Even number
ROW 1
In the 4th chain from hook, work HDC, CH, HDC. *Skip 2 chains, then work HDC, CH, HDC into the next chain. Repeat from * to end of row. Work 1 HDC into the last chain. CH 2 and turn.
ROW 2
In the 1st chain one space of the previous row that is between the HDCs, work HDC, CH 1, HDC. *Skip 2 stitches, then work HDC, CH 1, HDC, into the next chain one space. Repeat from * across the row. End the row with one HDC into the top of the turning chain (or work into space the chain two created if easier). CH 2 and turn.
