Hello crochet friends, Hannah here with a new simple and cozy baby blanket pattern!
This blanket is made with Bernat Baby Velvet yarn which is super soft and fluffy, and works up great with tighter stitches, which is I chose to use a front bottom loop Half Double Slip Stitch for the main part of the blanket.
I love how the stitch gave the blanket a little bit of texture with the horizontal lines, but also kept things nice and tight so I didn’t have to worry too much about any stitches coming lose or worming. (If you do find that you keep having stitches come lose, it may mean that you need to go down a hook size.)
This blanket is on the smaller side, so it’s perfect for a stroller-size lovey, but you can definitely make it a bigger size if you need! Because it’s only one stitch, this is a great relaxing summer project…this is what I worked one at our Daisy Farm Crafts Retreat last month!
Here’s a video tutorial for this blanket if you’d like to watch before you get started!
