Bernat Velvet yarn or Bernat Velvet Baby yarn is one of our very favorite yarns to use for crochet headbands. The silky texture makes for a luxurious gift.
However, we also know that there is a learning curve when using Bernat Velvet Yarn. If you have never used velvet yarn, we highly suggest you read the post about how to successfully crochet with velvet yarn before starting any of the projects we are sharing below.

We thought that now would be a good time to reshare all the twist headband patterns we have to help you get a head start on the holidays.
A velvet twist headband usually can be made in just about an hour. They are easy to sew the ends together and twist to get a clean finish.
Each pattern will contain easy-to-read instructions and a free printable pattern at the end of each post. Most of the patterns also have a video tutorial linked in the post as well to make sure you are successful in making your headband.
Also, the patterns are available to make them the size you need. Size charts are included and pattern repeats given if needed.
Thank you all so much for stopping by and if you make a velvet twist headband, come and show us in the Daisy Farm Crafters Group on Facebook, or tag your public posts on Instagram with @daisyfarmcrafts.
Happy Crocheting!
