20 Crochet Patterns Made with Bernat Softee Cotton

Have you ever picked up a skein of Bernat Softee Cotton and then wondered what to make with it? Sometimes I work backward like that too. I see the yarn and then decide what to make with it.

Today’s post is a roundup of 20 free patterns we have made using Bernat Softee Cotton or as it is also labeled Bernat Softee Baby Cotton. There is no difference in the yarn, only the color choices available.

The darker, more “adult” looking colors are in the Bernat Softee Cotton line, and more pastels and softers colors are in the Softee Baby Cotton line. The yarn is a 3 weight, cotton and polyester blend that is washable and dryable.

I’ve used a combination of both types in blankets, sweaters, bibs, and hats. I love using this yarn especially when I am making a crochet item to give as a gift. There is something very special about receiving something made with cotton.

It also has an heirloom quality to it, and it is what I used to recently make Nora’s Blessing Blanket. I hope she loves it and holds onto it for a long time.

Anyway, enjoy perusing this list, we will be adding to it as more of our patterns are made with this yarn. And, as always, all of our patterns include a free printable pdf at the end of each post.
