Hello friends, Hannah here with a new fun and relaxing baby blanket pattern!

One of my husband’s coworkers is having their first baby this October, so I wanted to make a baby blanket that had some fall vibes, but would still be cute for a baby girl!

This blanket is made with Bernat Softee Cotton yarn, which is one of our favorite yarns to use for baby blankets because the yarn washes very easily and holds up very well to lots of love from little babies.

The shade I used is called Sandstone, but there are also several other beautiful shades you can choose from on Yarnspirations.com! You can also use Bernat Softee Baby Cotton for this blanket, since the yarns are exactly the same, they just come in different shade collections.

In order to get this woven ridged look I simply alternated Wide Half Double Crochet and Front Bottom Loop Half Double Crochet throughout the blanket. If you’ve never used those stitches before, here is a quick video tutorial you can watch before you get started!
