Top Daisy Farm Crafts Halloween Costumes

Jack

I’ve loved crocheting Halloween costumes for my grandchildren in recent years. It’s the sweetest thing to see them dressed up in costumes I made for them.

It’s been so lovely to see you all creating these costumes for your little ones and grandkids. They’ve become some of our most popular patterns!

Jack

It all started with my oldest grandson, Jack, in an adorable bumblebee costume. Just a simple striped romper and a matching beanie with antennas and wings made out of pipe cleaners.

Tanner and Elizabeth, my son and daughter-in-law, made the costume extra special by dressing up as beekeepers for a complete family costume!

Sweet baby James was born next and he was only a couple months old when Halloween came around so, it made the most sense to make something super cozy. He made the most perfect ghost!

The pattern was a simple infant velvet nightgown with felt cutouts for the eyes and mouth.

Then, I made a “Jack”-o-Lantern! Jack made the cutest pumpkin. This was the perfect costume for him to run around in as an active 2 year old at that time.

Jack

This pattern was so easy and versatile that I used it again another year and made Jack, a spider and baby Kate, a ladybug. It turned out so perfect for both of them!

And we can’t forget about James as the sweetest sheep! I was so proud that I was able to figure out how to construct the body and the hat. James was so cute walking around eating his snacks.

Even Nora, James’ younger sister, got a chance to wear the sheep costume the following year! Just so adorable!

Nora

They made the cutest sibling pair. James, the farmer and Nora, the sheep.

As you can see, I’ve had so much fun making costumes for these kids. I’m so glad, as a grandma, I can share my love through crochet projects.
