Merry Christmas 2019

I’m sending you all my love for this holiday season! We posted this Christmas wreath on Instagram and Facebook and so many of you requested the pattern, I thought I’d share for you.

I think it could be a really cute ornament…for next year! haha. No time anymore!

We’ve had a wonderful holiday spending time together. We woke up to a white Christmas and that made it even more dreamy!

And since we were together, I had a chance to take a photo with my daughters and daughter in law, (except for Hannah, she’s coming next week.) But these girls all help me in one way or another with Daisy Farm Crafts. From helping with social media, modeling, desgining, and letting me bounce ideas off of them.

I’m so grateful for them and we have so many new ideas for next year! It’s so fun to have them and their inspiration.

And one more with my son Tanner, he’s awesome and my only son and does really well getting along with all his sisters! Plus we love who he chose to marry.

My son Tanner is in the middle and his wife is Elizabeth

Okay, enough of the family pics, let’s get to the pattern.

Materials

1 ball of Hobby Lobby, “I Love This Cotton” in green

1 ball of Hobby Lobby, “I Love This Cotton” in red

Size H, 5.00m crochet hook

scissors

tapestry needle

Pattern:

The size of the ornament is approximately 3.5 inches wide and high.

Chain 6

Join with a slip stitch to the first chain to make a loop.

Work 18 SC around the loop (or however you think you need to make it fairly stiff and circular.) Join with a slip stitch to the first SC.

*Chain 8. Work 2 SC in each chain space. Slip Stitch to the next SC. repeat from * until all the single crochet stitches around the loop are worked.

Tie off the green.

Choose 5 random spots to pull up a loop with red and work 1 Half Double Crochet 4 together cluster. Tie off and secure.

For the bow:

Chain approximately 50 or however many you need to form into a bow. Sew onto the circular part of the wreath. Finish the ends off by weaving them into the chain.

Set the wreath with fabric stiffener or heavy starch if you are going to make these for your tree as an ornament.

I also think they would be cute package toppers or anything you’d want to embellish.

I wish you all the best and a Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing your love of crochet with us and being a part of Daisy Farm Crafts!

xoxo, Tiffany
