Everything We Crocheted in 2025

Before the year ends, I wanted to document every pattern we crocheted and released this year! I love looking back and seeing exactly what we made and shared. Some patterns are going to be ones I make again because I love them so much.

The designs were made by either Hannah, my oldest daughter, or me, Tiffany.

A few days ago, we shared our year-end Wrapped Post, sharing what was popular with you all across our whole site. This post is just about what we have made this year. Every photo will be linked to the pattern, so if you see one you like, tap the photo to go to the blog post with the pattern

We make a video tutorial for that project or share a stitch video to help. Each pattern has a printable version at the very end of each blog post.

January

We usually start thinking about Valentine’s Day blankets in January, and 2025 was no different. We were sent a new yarn from Yarnspirations called Caron Simply Me to try, and since it was a fun fuchsia color, I started to play around with texture.

And then we also were sent Caron All Day Cotton, so I designed a few Heart Hot Pads as cute friend gifts for Valentine’s Day.

February

I took a quick break from all things hearts and made a classic Arcade Stitch throw with Bernat Maker yarn and a pattern from Yarnspirations for my living room couch. (I love this throw and stitch and want to make more!)

After I finished that, I wanted to play with the heart graph I made for the textured hearts, made the blanket with Bernat Softee Cotton, and used the graph with two colors. LOVE this one too, and I have seen so many versions made with multiple colors, and they are all so gorgeous.

We also have a February Birthday girl! Baby Nora turned one and Hannah made a darling throw out of Bernat Maker for Nora’s room. (More cute photos of Nora in that pattern post!)

March

Hannah finished up her blanket made with Caron Simply Me in March and I fell in love with this texture! She has tweaked a HDC stitch to make it look like knit. The official name of the technique is called a split HDC. She explains all of it in her YouTube tutorial linked in the blanket pattern:

Meanwhile, I started making flower squares out of Caron All Day cotton. We had a special yarn box collaboration with Yarnspirations that included this pretty purple.

April

I started working the squares into dresses for Kate and Nora for the summer. They turned out so cute! I’m hoping that they will turn into swing tops as the girls grow.

Hannah used all the colors in the yarn box collab to make a darling baby blanket! It’s bright and colorful and was great for summer. And we also have fallen in love with Caron All Day Cotton. It’s a nice alternative for hot pads and anything you need with 100% cotton.

Hannah even made dishcloths using the fun colors! Again, all yarn and info is linked in each pattern, click the photo to access the pattern.

May

Yarnspirations also released another new yarn called Bernat Cotton Terry which has a little nubby texture which is perfect for dish cloths. The colors are so pretty too! Hannah made dishcloths and we both really like the cotton for our kitchens.

My daughter Annie asked me to make a checkerboard blanket for her friend’s new baby boy, and I was happy to do it! I don’t pass up any opportunity to make a checkerboard or a gingham blanket. They are still my favorite blankets to make. I love using Bernat Softee Cotton for baby shower gifts. It’s perfect.

(I happened to be watching Jack and Kate the day I wanted to take photos so they helped me out!)

June

In June, Hannah wanted to adjust the Square Dance Blanket pattern to make it a bit easier and more relaxing to make. We both love using Caron Simply Me for warmer blankets and hats. It’s proven to be a great new addition for the Caron line of yarn.

Hannah also had been busy making a blanket for a baby shower with Bernat Baby Velvet. It’s a tricky yarn to work with, but wow the results are just so soft. The trick is small hook and tight stitches. This blanket is a stunner in person.

In June, I like to start making smaller projects since it really starts to heat up in Arizona. (I also took up golf this summer and practiced a lot, it’s indeed an addictive sport!) But I liked coming home after a day outside and making these easy dish cloths from a Yarnspirations pattern each night. I actually have attached a few of these flowers to my golf bag. They are great for keeping my clubs and balls clean. I wet them at the beginning of the round, and they stay wet throughout.

Then I needed another baby shower gift, and since checkerboard design is so popular, I made another! This time using a different stitch. I paired it with the cutest children’s book. Tap the photo for the pattern and more information.

July

In July, we collaborated once again with Yarnspirations to bring you a beautiful yarn collection called Wildflower Box. It sold out in just a few days. But the projects we made this month were out of yarn in the collection.

We are hoping that the Wildflower Box of yarn shades will be available again in 2026. Keeping our fingers crossed!

August

Hannah needed to make a baby shower gift and loved the cottagecore look that is gaining in popularity. I loved it so much that I made a colorful version after she made the solid color. Both were so much fun to make and are stunning in person.

I had a golf tournament at the end of August so I made GOLF towels for my partner and I. Again, love Caron All Day Cotton for this project!

Hannah wanted to continue using Bernat Cotton Terry because of its beautiful shades. She paired it with Bernat Softee Cotton. Fabulous!!

September

I took her design and turned it into a hat to accompany the blanket for a gift. Bernat Cotton Terry is great for babies, and I think it would be great for stuffed animals too.

Then we were sent Bernat Sport Ombre Twist yarn to try so Hannah whipped up easy moss stitch scarves for the fall. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

October

More new yarn came my way in October, and I sampled it with our HDC hat. If you like lighter-weight hats, this yarn is for you! It’s silky smooth, and gives a nice professional finish. It’s a wool blend and super luxe. I will be making more items next year with Simply Me Merino.

I did make Nora an adventure sweater out of this yarn, and it turned out great!! However, unfortunately, it never made it to her house. It was lost in the mail. So Nora never got to wear it. I hope wherever it ended up, someone somewhere can enjoy the sweater. Tap the photo to access the Adventure Sweater pattern which can be made in size xs to 5xL.

Hannah used more of the Wildflower collection yarn to make scarves for the fall which turned out just perfect in our CJ Flower Stitch! It’s great relaxing stitch to learn.

I got busy making Jack and Kate pumpkin patch hats for the fall using Caron Simply Me. They had such a fun orange and green color available.

More new yarn arrived at the end of October: Red Heart with Love, Better Half. It’s a fun cotton blend. When Hannah saw the colors, she thought of the GapKids scarves and thought that it would be fun to make.

November

And both Hannah and I settled in to make our Christmas Throws in November. She made hers with Bernat Maker, and I used Patons Canadiana. I was so happy to finish mine before December!

For the second year, I also designed a hat and scarf pattern to support the Children’s Miracle Network. I loved creating this hat and the color options. For a minimum donation of $10, you get the PDF and a link to the video tutorial. It’s an ongoing campaign, so if you don’t have funds now, you can always donate later.

December

And the only pattern that made it to the website was our Spiral Beanie made out of Caron All Day Wool, yet another fantastic new yarn available this year.

I made a lot more things in December, they just didn’t get published, things like santa hats, christmas sweaters, doll christmas sweaters, doll house rugs, doll clothes and lots of headbands. I hope to get the headbands published in the first of the year, fingers crossed!

Thank you again for everyone who follows along our crochet journey! Stay tuned for more in 2026!
