Crochet Even Moss at Berry Ridge Scarf

You can also make this beautiful scarf into a throw! Start with an even number of chains for the length you want. This is made vertically. The “fun fringe” is then worked on the ends.

You can also make this with any type of yarn. The scarf is made with Red Heart Cotton Breeze. We have made this as a throw with Red Heart Super Saver.

The length of the fun fringe can also be adjusted. For the scarf, we chained 20; for the throw, we chained 10.

The trickiest part of the blanket or scarf is learning how to work the front post single crochet around each post of the row, and then remembering to add one single crochet in the last stitch before you chain and turn.

We highly recommend working a practice swatch to learn the stitches and make sure you understand where to place the last stitch of the front post single crochet rows so your sides stay straight.

A video tutorial is linked at the end of the post.
