Crochet Herringbone Chevron Bed Scarf

colorful crocheted blanket on a bed

We’ve been redecorating my youngest daughter Annie’s bedroom. She was in need of an updated simple more modern look.

(Annie is my youngest daughter and is training and studying to become a certified golf instructor via playing on the LPGA tour hopefully. You can follow her on Instagram @anniebrowngolf. She also runs DaisyFarmKitchen.com with Elizabeth as she also loves to bake!)

The inspiration for her room came from a set of towels she bought from Target.

This is the Sonoma Collection by Opalhouse if you’re curious or love it too! We matched those colors as best we could to yarn in the Caron Simply Soft line and then I created a bold design that we thought would look great on the end of her bed.

Then between Hannah and I, we shopped at IKEA, World Market and back to Target to finish off the room. What is left to come is a new bedframe in black iron that we think will really pull it all together.

So we are officially calling this a bed scarf. It’s narrow and very long. But I will give you the pattern repeat and you can make this any size you’d like.
