I’m so excited to invite you to the 2027 Daisy Farm Crafts Retreat! We are headed to the California coast- specifically, Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes.

April 14-18, 2027!

Our event planner Sherry found this gorgeous property and has been working with them to make this retreat absolutely fabulous! She has so many fun activities planned, including a whale watching tour, special entertainment one of the evenings, a chocolate-making class, a resin board class, and other classes that you can choose from , like axe throwing, mandala painting, and, for the more adventurous, kayaking, paddle boarding, or snorkeling. 

There also is a golf course on property and for those that golf, we will be arranging tee times. (This year however, golfing will be an extra fee for those who sign up.)

We will be excited to welcome you beginning Wednesday night, April 14th, 2027 with an opening night dinner and meet-the-team reception. You will meet me, Tiffany, and my daughters who help run Daisy Farm Crafts, also my three sisters Cyndi, Nichole and Natalee!

We will start the day each day with a beautiful breakfast buffet and end each day with a dinner. Lunch and snacks will be on your own. 

Each guest has the option to book a room as a single or double if you are coming with a friend or spouse. We are also including transportation to the resort, so no worries about renting a car, unless you want to.

How do you sign up? A secure booking link has been created for each guest(s) to complete their registration through Sherry’s website, cruise planners. This link will go live on Monday, August 10th, at 10 a.m. MST.

Is there a deposit? A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at the time of the reservation. Travel insurance is highly recommended.

Are pets allowed? Pets are not allowed, however registered service animals are permitted.

Are children allowed? No, this event is meant for adults to come together and relax. 

What kind of activities are available? Golf, spa services, whale watching tour, axe throwing, resin making class, chocoloate making class, and more to be announced.

What kind of crochet classes will be available? No classes will be held; we are in the planning stage of coming up with beginner-friendly to intermediate projects that can be made for charity. The retreat is meant for you to bring the crochet you are working on, get to know the girls from Daisy Farm Crafts, and meet other participants. We will have a special designated crochet room each day to gather and chat.

How many people will be able to sign up? We currently have space for 50 guests

How do we get from the airport to the hotel? Sherry will arrange your transfer to the resort it is included in the price.

If I am local, how much is parking? Parking is available at the resort for $50 each night and billed to your room. 

What is the itinerary? Dates of the event are April 14-18, 2027. Guests can add on additional pre- or post-nights for an added expense; please reach out to Sherry if you’d like to add nights to your reservation.

Is food included? How many drinks? Breakfast and dinner are included. Lunch, snacks, and drinks are on your own. 

Can people come to the event but stay in their own lodging? Unfortunately no. We have booked a set of rooms, and we are obligated to the resort to fill the rooms. 

How much does it cost and what does it include? 

$5500 for a single room. 

If you are coming with a friend or a spouse and want to share the room it’s $4500 per person. 

If you are coming alone, you will be in a single room. The only option to share a room is if you are bringing a friend. We are not pairing people together. 

I am so excited to announce this retreat and have an opportunity to meet more of you who have become so dear to my heart through our shared love of crochet. My hope is to sit and crochet with each of you throughout our time at the resort. 

This is a time for you to relax, bring your crochet, come to California, and have a few days of fun with us. We will also have a group project we can all work on, which will be announced later. 

I know for sure that one of the activities I want to choose is a round of golf. As many of you know, my youngest daughter Annie is a PGA golf instructor, so she will be playing and you can book to go with her or me!

There are options to also just lie by the pool if you choose to. Lots of relaxing and crocheting.

In the event it sells out quickly, we will have a waiting list that you can join in case there are cancellations. Sherry will be taking care of all of those details. 

I forgot to mention that there is a spa, those charges are extra and added to your room if you choose to do any of those treatments.
