Lily Daisy Do Crochet Dish Cloth

I found the cutest, easiest dishcloth pattern the other day on Yarnspirations.com that I absolutely love! I have been making these in all sorts of colors and have been passing them out to my friends. This pattern is called the Lily Daisy Do Crochet Dishcloth

I changed up the yarn from Lily Sugar n’Cream to Caron All Day Cotton which is so much easier for me to work with. It is still 100% cotton, but it is also mercerized, which gives the yarn a shiny coating that makes it easier to pull through the hook.

A few weeks ago, we curated a box of Caron All Day Cotton called the Spring Time Box. There are still a few boxes available in these fun shades of color if you want to order.

You also receive 4 balls of white so you really could make this pattern look like a little flower.

I have made a few for myself and have been using them in my kitchen, and the yarn is thick enough to work as a dishcloth. Additionally, I hang them up on the sink using the small loop, and by morning, they are dry.

My daughter Hannah also made her own dishcloths that she named the Cotton Bloom Dishcloths, and she has said the same about her collection; she uses them to wipe her countertops down, and they are dry by the morning. We are both very impressed with the quality of Caron All Day Cotton.

I really love that Caron All Day Cotton is such a nice quality for making hostess gifts. It only came on the market last year, so using it and getting familiar with how it works has been fun.

See this post here for other projects we’ve created with it, if you’d like more ideas.

Thank you all so much for stopping by!
