Crochet Crunch Stitch Winter Tree Stripe Hot Pad or Pot Holder

two Christmas tree hot pads crochet

I’m making the tree crunchy this year! These turned out so cute, and I love the extra texture. If you have made the original tree stripe hot pad/pot holder, I think you will love this variation.

As a refresher here is the original hot pad from a few years ago, and we have a candy cane pattern too: Christmas hot pads

am also using a new 100% cotton yarn for these hot pads that I think you will love, too. Introducing Caron All Day Cotton from Yarnspirations.com, the home of the Red Heart, Bernat, Patons, and Caron brands of yarn. This yarn was so much easier to work with than Lily Sugar n’ Cream (although I do still love that cotton too.)

Caron All Day Cotton is mercerized, which means it is a bit shiny.  This yarn also is a chain link type construction so it doesn’t split. It is a 4 weight yarn and just all around fantastic. The colors so far in this line are vibrant and beautiful.

These are just a few choices that I think would look fabulous as a tree stripe hot pad, they have even more
