The Children’s Miracle Network is a foundation that supports children’s hospitals nationwide, providing critical care and life-changing help to kids in need. I’m so proud and happy to partner with them again to raise funds for this wonderful cause. The love and support that children’s hospitals offer truly make a difference when families are faced with crisis.
Last year, you beautiful crocheters were able to donate over $17,000 to this wonderful cause by donating $10 or more to download the pattern for the Reversible Miracle Hat. (And this campaign is still open if you would prefer this hat pattern.)

This year I’ve designed a new hat and scarf I named the Hope Hat and Scarf which I hope you will love just as much!
When you donate to the Children’s Miracle Network, you’ll receive an email with a link to download the Hope Hat and Scarf pattern as a printable PDF. The PDF includes full written instructions and a link to the complete YouTube tutorial for extra guidance. It also comes with a size chart so you can make it any size you need.
The Hope Hat and Scarf Set is a cozy crochet project with an easy-to-remember pattern. Both pieces are made with Caron Simply Me, a soft, durable, bulky-weight (#5) yarn blend of acrylic, nylon, and wool. (However, to me, it is a lighter type 5 weight yarn and is similar 4- weight to Red Heart Super Saver)
The hat and scarf are a two-tone design, using one skein of a light color and one of a dark color for each piece.

The hat is worked from the brim up using single crochet stitches. It’s finished with an optional faux fur pom pom (6-inch for adults or 4-inch for infants.) It can also be left plain.
The infinity scarf complements the hat beautifully, using the same easy stitch pattern. It’s worked in the round and can be adjusted in length or width to your preference.
If you are looking for a quick project, this set is simple to make and filled with love — a perfect way to stitch hope and warmth into every loop.

I can hardly believe it’s been thirteen years since my youngest daughter, Annie, received life-changing surgery at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. At just nine years old, Annie began having uncontrollable seizures and was later diagnosed with epilepsy.

We spent countless hours at Phoenix Children’s for doctor visits and therapy appointments. That’s when I first started bringing my crochet projects along — the very beginnings of Daisy Farm Crafts.
Annie eventually underwent brain surgery to remove a lesion in her left temporal lobe, hippocampus, and amygdala. The surgery saved her from severe seizures, though recovery required years of cognitive therapy. Thanks to the incredible team at Phoenix Children’s, she made a full recovery and is now a PGA Golf Associate and teaching pro, working toward her dream of playing on the LPGA Tour one day.
During that same season, I also spent time at PCH with my daughter Haley, who needed foot surgery. I remember sitting in waiting rooms and recovery rooms, crocheting hats and finding peace through creating. Those moments are part of why giving back now means so much to me.

I can’t thank you all enough for being my crochet friends and for helping me build a platform that allows me to support causes like this. Crocheters truly are some of the most generous people on the planet, and I’m so grateful to be part of this community.
If you have any trouble downloading the pattern or have any questions at all, please reach out to me at tiffany@daisyfarmcrafts.com — I’ll be happy to help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting the Children’s Miracle Network through your donation.
All my love,
Tiffany
