Hello! It’s the start of a new crochet season and so I’d like to reintroduce you to our team that helps run Daisy Farm Crafts. Additionally, we have many new crochet friends who visit our website daily, and I’d love to introduce you to who we are and share our passion for crochet and its community.
I’ll start with me! I’m Tiffany, who started crocheting in anticipation of the day I’d become a grandma. And in 2020, my dream came true! I now have four grandbabies and have so much fun crocheting for them. I still enjoy crocheting for friends and family as well.
I’m amazed at the number of people we have met through crochet. We held our first-ever crochet retreat in May of this year, and I’ve always thought that my little saying, ‘crochet it and they will come,’ was meant for grandkids, but it also turned out to be true for the most fabulous crochet friends as well! I thank everyone for stopping by our website, using our patterns, sharing our patterns, and for any other interactions you have with us. It’s been a lot of fun for our family.
Next, I would like to introduce you to everyone who helps me run this website.
The following is my oldest daughter, Hannah, and her husband, Will, and their two darling babies, James and Nora. Hannah is a designer who shares her patterns on the website and provides video tutorials on YouTube. She keeps us motivated and is a creative genius. I so appreciate the modern style she brings to crochet. We love to brainstorm ideas together.
This is James! He just turned three and I hope to get lots more photos of him this fall if he will cooperate and wear hats that I make him. He is a hard one to catch. He is full of energy and very curious about the world around him.
Our precious baby Nora is just 18 months but growing up so fast already! She has been a crochet model since the day she was born and I can’t wait to make more things for her.
Next is my daughter Nicolina. She has a lot of blanket designs on the website, but has been too busy with her own career to make anything lately. She is so talented in design, but maybe in the future she will have a blanket or two to share. Fingers crossed!
This is my son Tanner and his wife, Elizabeth. Tanner is our in-house accountant, and Liz runs the Pinterest account! Both are so essential in keeping everything running smoothly.
They are the parents of Jack and Kate! Jack is the oldest grandchild and he is 4 and a half. Kate is 2, almost 3. They have also been my Daisy Farm Crochet models since they were tiny babies.
This is my daughter Haley, who makes all the printable PDFs for the website. She also helps with Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. She is essential in sharing pattern links. We couldn’t do it without her!
And last, but never least, is my youngest daughter, Annie. She has crocheted and made blankets in the past, but is currently so busy building her own golf instructor business that she occasionally models for me. I made this darling skirt for her to wear in this photo! She loves to wear crochet items, and I wish I had more hands to make all the things.
Anyway, that’s the team, and I’m so grateful for each one of them. We were all together as a family on the beach this summer, so I hired Christine Deaton, a super-talented photographer from Arizona who just so happened to be at Newport Beach, CA the same week we were there to take our family photos. I’m happy I did! She really captured us and what we are about. We really do have so much fun hanging out, playing with the kids, and just incredibly grateful that we have this opportunity to share a craft that has been practiced in our family for generations.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for being a part of our story. We are thrilled to begin our tenth season of crochet and look forward to sharing with you what we have been creating and designing.
Also, feel free to join our Daisy Farm Crafters Group on Facebook to be part of a fun community sharing beautiful Daisy Farm Crafts crochet patterns. There is so much inspiration to see!
And definitely, if you are on Instagram, tag us @daisyfarmcrafts so we can share your work into our stories every Sunday! We love our Sunday Shares.
Happy Crocheting!
XOXO, Tiffany
