Hello, Hannah here, with a fun and easy baby blanket that is full of texture! This blanket is a modified re-creation of my Velvet Berries Throw, but I modified the stitches a bit to make the lines and the berries a little more defined. I really loved this Persimmon color of Red Heart Super Saver when I saw it in the store and thought it would look great as a one color baby blanket!

Repeat rows 2 through 5 until your blanket reaches appx. 35 inches in length.
Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle.
Round 1: Pull up a loop in any corner and chain 1. Work one round of SC around the blanket, working one SC per row on the sides and one SC per stitch on the ends of the blanket. Work 3 SCs into each corner. When you reach the starting corner, slip stitch into starting stitch, then CH 1 and turn.
Round 2: *SC into first stitch, skip one stitch, work 5 DCs into next stitch, skip one stitch. Repeat from * around the blanket. When you reach starting corner, slip stitch into starting stitch and tie off. (You may need to skip an extra stitch at the end to make the final shell work.)
