A few weeks ago, Hannah published a beautiful new blanket pattern called the Coastal Pines baby blanket. She was able to combine Bernat Softee Cotton and Bernat Cotton Terry to make an adorable classic blanket.

I thought it would be adorable to make a matching hat in case you were gifting the blanket and wanted to add a little something extra.
I used all the same stitches as in the blanket, so it will really be easy to add a little hat to accompany the blanket.
(I’m going to go back through a lot of our popular blanket patterns and add cute little hats. I’ve been wanting to do that for years, and I think I finally have the time to do it!)
Bernat Cotton Terry is a new yarn from Yarnspirations.com that is giving the most modern and fun updated look to crochet. We love the latest colors and the nubby texture. It’s going to be fun to work with it for stuffed animals and more hats!
It also paired perfectly with Bernat Softee Cotton.
